Beckermus at the New-Tech 2018 Exhibition

The largest and most diverse exhibition in Israel for the fields high-tech and electronics took place on the last week on May. More than 150 companies presented their capabilities and services to professional representatives from diverse sectors of the local and global electronics and microelectronics communities.

Presenting at the New-Tech yearly exhibition has become a tradition in our company. The event is a wonderful opportunity for our tech team to take a short break from the clean room and assembly challenges. For a couple of days, we set aside the ongoing activities and focus on meeting old friends and getting to know new companies.

This year we chose to design the booth to reflect the atmosphere in our micro-assembly facilities. We admit, it was not simple catch in one shot an almost 700 sqm room, 60 microscopes and about 30 professionals in their manual and automated work stations. Nevertheless, the warm feedbacks clearly indicate that the mission was accomplished successfully. Many of our visitors pointed out that while sitting with us to discuss their microelectronics and micro-optics challenges they could feel like they are already on the assembly line.

The exhibition took place a few days after Beckermus Technologies has signed a cooperation agreement with IMI, Integrated Micro-Electronics Inc. from the Philippines. Many of our visitors have already heard about the cooperation and were very interested to learn about the new technical-business approach developed by the companies. The new approach places Beckermus as the NPI center for the global activities of Integrated Micro-Electronics Inc and the 19 factories of IMI as an extension to Beckermus clients that required micro assembly of high-volume quantities. Services are available to companies from the medical, aerospace, aviation automotive, virtual reality, communication and consumer sectors, providing them with solid and leading-edge alternative to the current challenges every company moving from local to mass production is facing.

For more information about the new approach, you can read Ms. Carla G. Buencamino, head of sales and business development for Philippine operations interview on TechTime magazine.
